What We're Looking For
What we look for, over and above everything else, is the following...
Enthusiasm
On the phone, email, at your interview, and in your application.
Effort
Prove to us in your application this is what you really want.
Big smiles
In your photos, when we meet you, and of course - at camp.
Friendliness
You must be able to get on with all types of people.
Flexibility
Show us you are flexible (not physically but mentally) and don't get fazed easily.
And that you enjoy kids
and can handle being around lots of them 24 hours a day, for 8+ weeks, and that you have great skills to offer camps.
Please read the reference criteria before your interview.

- Being 19 and over helps with your placement chances.
- 18 year olds must be certified in one of the High Demand skills above and be available by June 5 to be interviewed.

- You are available to leave NZ before June 20 for at least nine weeks until August 20.
Skills less sought after
Soccer is not a skill you will be able to teach at camp because all the UK participants who apply for soccer have FAA Coaching qualifications.
Drama is not a high demand skill - do not focus on drama as your main skill if you want to have a good chance of placement.
Remember - you are teaching children - not Olympic level - so if you think you can teach a child how to do It - you'll probably be perfect for Camp.
