Camp America Work Adventures

Are you a current university student or have you recently graduated?

If so, why not take advantage of the Camp America Work Adventures program?

This program is just like Camp America, however it allows you to work and travel in the US for up to 12 months! We’ll set you up with a 9 week paid support role at a summer camp in administration, the kitchen or maintenance; you’ll then have the remainder of the year to work and travel.

You’ll get the same summer camp experience as those on the Camp America program, you’ll eat the s’mores, sing the camp fire songs and get to do all of the awesome activities at camp, plus the added bonus of a longer visa and a 98% chance of placement!


To take part in Work Adventures you will need to be:

• 18 by June 1st 2012
• Available to depart some time between May 1st and June 20th
• Available to work for a minimum of 9 weeks and until the middle of August
• Additionally you will need to be:
• A post-secondary student who has completed their first year

OR
A recent graduate from a post-secondary college/university/Polytech in Australia/New Zealand within the last 12 months. Please note that some exclusions may exist for Polytechnic courses.

 

PLUS

• A pre-placed job
• Food & Accommodation
• Earn between US$1500 and US$1600 for 9 weeks
• 12 months medical and baggage insurance

Fees

Interviewed before 1st December = NZD $1,998.00 ($798 Camp America fees + $1200)

Interviewed after 1st December = NZD $2,198.00 ($998 Camp America fees + $1200)

This includes 12 months medical, baggage, and flight cancellation insurance
