Forrestel Riding Camp

New York State

Forrestel Riding Camp is heading to Australia and NZ

Forrestel has two program tracks. Campers can ride once a day in the Horsemanship or twice a day.

All campers at Forrestel sign up for other Specialty Activities which meet throughout the camp session. We also offer our campers free choice times so that we can offer flexibility in our camp day. Our philosophy is to encourage children to try new things and build self confidence. Our adult specialty staff members create a nurturing atmosphere where campers feel comfortable exploring and developing new skills.Girls live in large cabin-like tents. They are on wooden platforms which are off the ground. Most tents have 6 campers and 2 counselors (every tent has at least one camp counselor). The bathroom and showers are nearby.

Food at camp is farm fresh and home cooked. Both lunch and dinner have salads and vegetables as well as plenty of meat, pasta, milk, juice and dessert (vegetarians don’t go hungry).

Oh, and you haven’t lived until you try Mary’s homemade chicken pie.
