Catch a lift with the Camp America Airport Shuttle if you're coming from out of town

  • We've organised a shuttle to the venue - departs Auckland Airport at 9am and departs venue at 5pm
  • It's $20. 
  • As a comparison: the Airport Bus is $16 each way and that's only tp the city - then you'll need to bus to takapuna. Save time, and money, and let us pick you up and drop you off. We're nice like that. #wemakeiteasy

Non VIPs 

(not yet applied and, or, interviewed locally by a Camp America Interviewer)

  • $350.00 (cash or bank cheque made payable to Camp America) which is your application fee - refunded if you are unsuccessful or we don't place you by June 30th 2017
  • Photo ID
  • Any certificates (lifeguard, swim-coach, etc not your NCEA results) if you have any, to show camps
  • Any photos of you doing your activity/skill if you have them to show camps
  • References if you have them to show the camps
  • Not your parents - leave them at home - you're applying to go to America and you're parents are not going with you, so start today with that maturity level.
  • Big smile and lose the caps, sunnies and gum - this is a job application interview. 
  • Your awesome personality - the camps and us both want to see how awesome you are - try not to be nervous. 
  • Print out of your application if you have started it online via www.mycampamerica.com this can be a good way to get you started talking about your skills. Some camps will want to see it before meeting with you. 
  • Arrive between 10am and 1pm if you can; so there is still time to see the camps after your interview 
  • Your scannable Entry ticket
  • Your Camp America Bus Ticket if you are booked to catch our Fair bus.

VIP's  - you have applied and been interviewed already - here's what to bring

  • Print out of your application via www.mycampamerica.com this can be a good way to get you started talking about your skills. Some camps won't see you without this.
  • Your free scannable Entry ticket 
  • Your Camp America Airport Shuttle Ticket if you need a ride from the airport to the venue and back (9am/5pm departures)
  • Photo ID​
  • plus any photos of you doing your activity/skill if you have them - camps may not have access to your online application on the day. 
  • References if you have some written ones relating to your skills to show camps
  • Not your parents - leave them at home - you have applied to go to America and you're parents are not going with you, so start today with that maturity level.
