Camp Quality

What is it?

Camp Quality brings fun, hope & happiness into the lives of children living with cancer - inspiring them to get on with being kids again. They run both summer & winter camps for the kids all across New Zealand. You can become involved by registering, attending a training weekend & joining the camp as a companion.

A companion is a special person who donates their time to a Camper to provide one-to-one support for the week of camp and beyond, ensuring that they have a wonderful experience.

  • Are you 18 or over?
  • Do you enjoy working with children?
  • Are you available to attend Camp Quality training?
  • Are you available over summer for the entire week of camp?
  • Are you caring, positive and empathetic?
Key dates can be found here: https://www.campquality.org.nz/key-dates/

The application process is an on-line one (once registrations open) watch each regional page for application opening dates: https://www.campquality.org.nz/regions/

Part of completing their registration process includes providing referees and completing the Police Vetting form – as it is mandatory applicants will have to go through this process again. If you have any other questions please contact Julie Carter: admin@campquality.org.nz
